As the founder of SOULHEALISM, Camargo approaches art as a process of self-discovery and meditative soul-searching — a bridge to our most primal being. His work invites reflections on timelessness, simultaneity, coexistence, and the multiverse, unfolding naturally between two poles: light and shadow.
C. Daniel Camargo was born into a family of artists in southern Brazil, shaped by the contrasts of the Curitiba megalopolis, the rural landscapes of northern Paraná, and the raw beauty of Santa Catarina’s coastline.
He earned degrees in Industrial Design (2000) and Fine Arts (2004), relocating to California later that year to pursue a career in architecture. Through years of practice, Daniel developed a strong visual foundation rooted in construction, structure, and technical language. This background informs an artistic approach that is both cerebral and emotional, simple yet complex—deeply anchored in his own process of soul healing.
Among his most enduring influences are Salvador Dalí, the visionary surrealist; M.C. Escher, the architectural master of impossible worlds; and H.R. Giger, the biomechanical alchemist of the subconscious — artists whose work and legacy affirm the immeasurable importance of art within human culture.
